Superbad=super fucking great

I haven't posted recently because I haven't been doing much - other than a lovely yarn sex-pedition (stash enhancement xpedition...pervs!) with Robyn and Michelle. But tonight, I went to the movies with a girlfriend to catch Superbad. OH MY FUCKING GOD! I laughed and nearly peed my pants. I couldn't even knit I was laughing so hard. I strongly suggest that everyone in blogland take a couple of hours and accept the wonder of really well written comedy (with quite a few dick & fart jokes...which I like...every once in a while)

Other than that...in knitting news, I'm about to start the heel flap on Charade numero dos. I have a ton of pics I'd love to post, but my camera is back at Best Buy being fixed. I should have it back by next week (please help me out here camera Gods...) so that I can show off all of the sexy new yarn that I got while shopping with the girls. That and to show off the cuteness of my sleeping buddy who I must say, is cuter than ever these days...

Oh...in personnal news, last winter i was "seeing" a fireman and things ended kind of abruptly...well...seems like things are sorta getting back on track although I'm still trying to figure out what I want. Anyhow...YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

Happy knitting!

Hmm...

Summer's over...well almost. I'm back. My computer's been fixed for a few days, and I've been thinking about what perfect timing it is to come back to the blog.

I've just spent one of the calmest summers. I worked at my local day camp with ten year olds (like I did for many a summer). I went camping with said kids for a weekend (summer highlight!). I mean think of it, it was my best friend (and boss) and I with 13 kids for 72 hours. We had such a blast just sitting outside, playing cards and watching the shooting stars...*sigh*. Camp ended last friday and I've been sleeping since.

Knitting wise, I finished the Paton Kroy socks and...that's about it...

Here's a rundown of what's on the needles:

1. The never ending Arwen which I should finish before the holidays (I fucking hope)
2. Jaywalkers that I only need to graft (damn that grafting)
3. Cable twist socks because I had to frog one and haven't had the heart to start it again (boo me!)
4. Charade socks (oh new socks!) which I'm completely in love with. The pattern is so simple and I'm totally in love.

On other me news...nothing much...there once was a fireman who was in the picture who then...wasn't and who's now...reappeared...so I'm happy about that!!!! Serge is now a ginormous kitty. He says "meow" to everyone (which translates into either "hellooooooo!!" or "why are you eating that piece of fish, it's clearly been brought to the kitchen for me!")
