Hey peeps just to let you know that my mac is perma asleep (it won't charge) and my dads computer died as well. Therefore, I can't blog much...unless I'm at a friends house...(like right now). Worst is, all of a sudden, my camera has decided to not work as well, but I have a couple of pics I'd like to post next time I'm at a friends who has a memory card reader. Anyhooo...take care, I should be back soon.

Caroline tagged me with a 7 random facts meme. I think I've done it in the past...but what the hell, there are a LOT of silly random things about me...

1. I can only fall asleep while sleeping on my side...can't do it on my back or my belly...

2. I haven't eaten McDonalds in quite a while...at first it was because I thought it was horrible, then it was just because it didn't happen. I'd go if the desire struck me hard enough...

3. I always thought that I was going to be a doctor...I sometimes still regret my choice to study theater.

4. I'm the biggest chicken in the world, I'm especially terrified by scary movies (à la Exorcism of Emily Rose) and anything with snakes.

5. So far, in my 23 years of existence, I only regret one thing.

6. I wish I could knit faster and actually complete the projects I start (ex. sweaters!)

7. I'm addicted to piercings, not tattoos (even though I'd like a couple more). Piercings make he freaking happy!

Wooooohoooooooo! I finished something. Surprisingly, it's something that I started on wednesday night while knitting at the Peel Pub and that I finished yesterday while watching Freedom Writters with my parents. I made Calorimetry. It's great! I'd post a pic, but blogger is being a whore with me right now picture-wise. But I can assure you, this is a one day pattern. I made a little mod, instead of casting on 120 sts, I did 112. I could've gone down even more, actually, I will for the next one I make. These will make excellent last minute presents...muahhahahahahahha!

Well, I'm going to work on a sock a bit before I head into a meeting!

Fringed

Hey blogland! I was away, volunteering for the Montreal Fringe festival. It was super cool, but I only saw 5 shows out of 99...meh...I'm thinking of going to the Toronto Fringe to check out some of the shows I missed. Anyhow, since I was volunteering outside, I got to sit around and knit in the beautiful Montreal weather. I made good progress on the second commute sock as well as on the Jaywalker.

Arwen is also looking good, I'm nearing the sleeve increases. I should be there by the end of tonight. Other than that, I'm still totally addicted to Ravelry which might be another factor in why I'm not blogging as much as I want to.

Anyhoo, off to knitting I go!

I got my invite to Ravelry!!!!!!!! I'm super excited. I just can't wait to get some time to play around with it!!

Other than that...I'm in a meeting right now for school things and it's pretty outside...I'd much rather be knitting outside whilst drinking sangria. OOh I think I'm going to have a sticker made for my laptop that'll read: I'd rather be knitting...

Anyhow...I should be paying attention...

I need a vacation from my vacation...

I finished school more than a month ago and I seem to spending an awful lot of time there ar doing things for school while I should be enjoying the bit of time I have before I start working at camp again. This student association thing is sucking all the air out of me. Next weekend, I was supposed to go to Toronto's TTC yarn crawl thingy and now I have to go to Matagami (a.k.a. far far away) for a congress. Of course everyone else in my team is working or claiming that they don't know enough yet to go to such an event and bla bla fucking blah... To top it off, I had been offered a bartending job for next weekend but I actually wanted to hang out with Robyn and Sean in TO. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I'm just scared of burning myself out. What do you guys do when you're just overwhelmed? I need some advice.

But anyhow, not everything is bad. I'm just spazzing out a little because I wish I could just hang out and not think of anything... I've got some cool things coming up this week! I'm one item away from completing my SP10 package. This time, I wanted to make one big package. I think my pal with be pleasantly surprised... I'm also going to hang out with Robyn to knit a little and talk a lot. What else? Well, I'm hoping that I can come home to this during the week:

And to answer the question you're all thinking of...yes, I did think of putting some hunky man pictures there (George Clooney or Sheldon Sourray) before I thought of putting one of Serge....sorry kitty!

On the knitting front, I'm working on the foot of the Patons sock. I like the way it looks, but knitting with this yarn is turning out to be a bit of a pain because the ply's just split. Maybe I'm just knitting to tightly, but this hasn't ever happened before. I couldn't look at Arwen this weekend...too...cable-y...

Coming on the blog this week, a stash pic for SP10 and (hopefully) a pic of the cat while he's not in a food induced coma/sleeping...
