Man I wish I could say that I've been MIA because of some adorable/smart guy that I met...but that would be a lie. I've been busy with school association stuff. It's keeping me in meetings until past midnight. Might I remind you all that I'm supposed to be on vacation here??...I've also been spending some time with a really close friend. She's going to be my boss this summer. Yes ladies and germs, I've gottenmy self a job. I don't call it a job as it's more fun than anything, but I'll be heading back to being a camp councillor. Yep...back to my roots! I'm just a little scared because I injured myself in april (i don't know if I posted about this but whatever) and my knee still isn't 100% back...I went to get myself a knee brace, I need to go try it out tomorrow, my official return to the gym (I'm soooo scared to do something wrong and hurt myself, but I'm gonna do it, my doctor gave me the all clear), but I wore it around all day today because of the humidity and I felt super supported in the knee-cap area.
Anyhow, let me talk about other things...I have some knitted related things to post about! *gasp* I know...shocking! Watch out....here come a shit load of pics!

My Secret Pal sent me a lovely lovely package! In it, there was some fucking scrumptrulescent (yes...you read right...it's my blog and I'll make up words if I want too...!) chocolate with bits of toffee in it. *drool* There's also a really cool spindle and some natural colored alpaca!

The roving was kindly donated by a baby alpaca named Mufasa. How cool is that? It really cool, she started spinning a bit of the roving and left me some drafts since I'd sent her an email asking questions about drafting methods and just spinning in general. This is making me completely obssessed with the idea of spinning me some sexy yarn...I can't wait!!!!!! My kick ass pal also sent me a much needed purse.

This great goodie has been put to good use ever since it came out of the enveloppe. It's been out knitting with me, it's been out drinking...yeah...that's pretty much all my nights consist of these days... I must take a minute and tell you all about the fantabulous (uh huh!) lining to this bag. Now, those of you reading who've been reading my blog have probably understood that I'm not usually detail oriented BUT, this is a kick ass lining. Check it out:
Simple and pink...my personnal preference! It's so cute, I think Serge went a little nuts when he smelled alpaca...I taught him well...muhahahhhahahaha!
"Purrrrrrrrrrrrr!"Well...other than that...nothing really, I'll post about my WIP's tomorrow for an SP10 contest!
Oh! Oh! Oh! Before I go! I need to say a big fat thanks to Anita (who is blog-less). When I participated in
Robyn's stitch marker swap, I had some serious mail issues. I had gotten one set of stitch markers out of five and NONE of mine made it to my partners (never mail something out from UQÀM...), sweet Anita sent me a second set of stitch markers. A couple of days later, her first set arrived at my place. I thought it was funny. Strange. But funny. Here's a pis of the GORGEOUS stitch markers she made me (this is a pic of the second set, the first one will be posted later this week)
Ta-Da! Thank you Anita!Happy Knitting!
