Robyn is holding a stitch marker swap. I think everyone should sign up! Last round I got some markers from out west and Australia that were super pretty! You can have up to 5 swap partners and you can't think of a good reason to cop out of this...all knitters need stitch markers! For more info on the swap, click here.
In other news, I'm going nuts with the impending strike at school. I officially have less of a life than before...how sad! I've also been knitting up a storm! I just finished a sock in Regia bamboo. I took a pic and have it on my USB thingy but I don't know if I can post it since I'm making it for someone else...(I'm such a knitting tease!) I haven't progressed much on Arwen, but that will change soon (I hope) because my birthday deadline is approaching fast enough. I'll post the Arwen pics when I get home...more like if I ever get out of school...
Happy knitting!

Tuesday
It's tuesday and I just downed a rally big cup of coffee so I'm a little jumpy right now...hehehehe! Even though I'm not on my own comp, I've decided to reveal what the orange something is.
*drumroll* It's the Cardigan for Arwen, designed by Kate "the Clap" Gilbert. I'm using Berocco Ultra Alpaca in Henna. I've done the back and now, I'm doing the left front and am up to the shoulder. I have some pics, but they're on my laptop (which doesn't have internet access...*sob*). I can't wait to show you, I'm so proud! Me...doing cables! I know, it's so exciting! I think that finishing this is going to give me the balls to attack this. I got that pattern from my secret pal who by the way, was this super cool blogger. I was super happy to find out it was her. I got to know Michelle's blog during the Knitting Olympics and have been lurking ever since! Oh the coincidences!
Alright well, I have class in 20 minutes and I don't know if I'll be up to posting tomorrow, especially since it's *vomit* love day... I've been doing really well as a single gal, but I think that the coupled work extra-hard to make ME (because that's what it's all about...of course!) miserable. If I have to get stuck in front of another spit-swapping couple in the metro, I think I might puke on myself...
Anyhow...that's enough bitterness for one day.

In which I don't have much to say...
...but I really missed blogging...
I've been knitting up a storm! My "something orange" is coming along REALLY well! I can't wait to post some pics! It's the only thing stopping me from showing it off! I even have some FO's to post as well as my last package from SP9! Funny how when I can't blog I actually have things to show off and when I can blog, I don't have much to say...hmm...
In other news, the secret weekend getaway was LOVELY! I'm looking forward to more of those if I do say so myself! I've been feeling the itch to travel lately, a teacher of mine even gave me an application form to go teach french in the UK or Ireland, but the deadline was the next day, and I didn't have a letter of recommendation on hand...*sob* but I'm definetly going to try to do that soon. Just imagine...me...travelling alone! It's scary, really scary actually, but I'm really feeling the need to get away from Montreal for a long period of time. Okay...the fact that my parents are leaving for here in less than 12 hours has stimulated my desire to get the hell out of this cold COLD city...but regardless...it's a push in the right direction.
There's a knitting thing tonight, I can't wait! I haven't been to a knitting thing in about a month...good times! Maybe the person responsible for my "something orange" will even be there...*hint hint* ok, to make it a little easier (but not too easy!) here's the link to said person...
Hopefully the internet will come back soon so that I can post pics and more pics and more pics! (I fucking hope so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Technology sucks...sometimes...
I have no internet at home...sob! For some unknown reason, the little green men in our home modem have decided to go on strike. So I'm typing this from school. I'm kinda annoyed, cause I have plenty of pics to post. And I started a new project... It's a big project (to me) and it's going very well, considering I started it yesterday. It involves some alpaca yarn and the winter IK. You'll find out when I post pics...eventually!
Secret Pal is over too, I was really spoiled by my pal, but sadly, I couldn't show you since I just got my camera super recently. I don't know if I should participate in the next one. I don't know...I was super lucky and got a great pal, but my spoilee hasn't answered an email since early november. Anyhow... I have a month to think about if I want to sign up for the next one or not.
Alright well dear readers, I'm off to the gym, then off to a secret weekend getaway!
Happy knitting!
