Grumble grumble...Day 2

I'm proud of myself, I didn't smoke at all yesterday. I wanted to though... Plus now I'm starting a cold which if you think about it is a good thing since who wants to have a cigarette whilst congested... But I think the downside to stopping smoking is that I'm sooooooo hungry all the time and it's not like I want carrots or grapes, it's total cake-mania here! I'm trying to compensate by drinking water. I don't want to gain the few pounds I've lost lately all over again...But it's okay, I'm just going to have some oatmeal for breakfast and take it one minute at a time :-)

On the knitting front, I've been going nuts on the Platypus, also affectionately named The Clap (lol), I want to finish it and wear it before summer comes back (which we all know will happen as soon as I bind-off said scarf...). I'm also working on the Cash Iroha hat, it's so damn soft! So yeah, I think I'll go do that for now!

Happy Knitting!

Thanks ~Jo~ for the quitting smoking encouragement!

I'm proud of you for attempting the hard task of quitting smoking! It's definitely the right thing to do and I have faith in you, even if most of the best actors, directors, and writers were chimneys :p. That was in the past and I see a new horizon of theatre makers who are simply party animals and then, who knows, maybe the next generation will actually just care about doing a good job! Ha ha, take care of yourself and make sure that you're always giving yourself a treat of some sort when you're giving up something else. It's the way to go and not get down in the dumps about it I think.

Thanks for coming by my blog!! I have linked oyu on mine.

I am really proud of you for trying to quit. I smoked for ten years, and quit in 2001 cold turkey, and it was the best decision I ever made. So good luck and keep it up!!!

i'm from Montreal originally! Are you? Have you ever been out west?
